Be Creative

Our Fourth of July celebrations start this weekend! We plan on enjoying the parade and then taking our girls to see fireworks! If you’ve taken your little ones to see fireworks before then you probably know that there can be a lot of downtime before the show starts. I put together a “Lil’ Firecracker” bag for our girls to open while they wait! The main things I focused on including were an activity, glow wand, bubbles and of course snacks!

Assembly:

Place your snacks and an activity in your bag!

Fill with remaining items. I included a glow wand, bubbles, star glasses and a beaded necklace. Glow bracelets and necklaces would be a great addition too! These pop-its would also be fun for little ones!

I taped the tag on the top of the bag and added curling ribbon to the zipper pull. You could also hole punch the tag and hang it from a bag handle as well!

I’m excited to hand these out to the kids on the 4th!

I also wanted to include the snack bucket I put together for the kids. We all know little ones can get hungry when they’re running around playing! I included a combination of sweet and salty snacks that can easily be transported and won’t melt in the heat! 😉 I included the free printable tag below.

Snack items: Nutri Grain Bites, Applesauce pouches, Rice Krispies Treats, individual Ritz Cracker packs, individual Chex Mix bags, mini water bottles, and strawberry fruit strips. Raisins, freeze dried fruit and pretzels would also be a good addition!
