Be Creative

What child doesn’t like pizza? In our house, pizza is a weekly staple! But traditional pizza that you order out isn’t always the healthiest or that cost effective. These are the perfect size to make for an after school snack, lunch or dinner paired with a fruit and vegetable! Also, this quick, easy, kid approved pizza uses items you already have on hand!

Items needed:

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Farenheit.

Spray muffin tin with Pam cooking spray.

Stack 3 tortillas and push biscuit cutter through tortillas four times for a total of 12 tortilla circles.

Push the tortilla circles all the way down into the muffin cups.

Fill each muffin cup with 1 tsp of sauce. The leftover sauce can be put in the fridge up to 5 days – perfect for spaghetti night later in the week! 😉

Sprinkle Muenster and Mozzarella/Parmesan cheese mix on top of the sauce in each cup.

Bake for 8-10 minutes! Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

These pizza bites are a hit with the whole family! It’s a super easy meal to whip together on those crazy busy weeknights! We tend to always have tortillas, pasta sauce and cheese on hand. You could also add mini pepperoni’s, mushrooms, or any meat or vegetable you like! It’s easy to add hidden veggies to the sauce, like chopped spinach, if I were to add anything! I hope you enjoy! 🙂
